M-Faisaa has partnered with renowned travel agency Fathuruverun Travels to make travel insurance more accessible for Maldivian travelers. The partnership, announced today, enables customers booking trips through Fathuruverun to conveniently secure travel insurance provided via Amana Takaful.
According to
M-Faisaa, the collaboration ensures travelers receive essential protection
during their journeys abroad. Through this initiative, customers arranging
customized travel plans with Fathuruverun will now be able to easily add
insurance coverage as part of their booking process.
The travel
insurance package, available digitally through the M-Faisaa wallet on the
Ooredoo Super App, offers comprehensive coverage. It includes up to MVR 771,000
for accidents resulting in disability or loss of life, and up to MVR 1.5
million for sudden medical expenses. Additional benefits cover passport or
baggage loss, trip cancellations, delays exceeding 12 hours, and missed
connecting flights or departures.
M-Faisaa
emphasized that the partnership reflects its goal of simplifying access to
financial and insurance services, while Fathuruverun highlighted the added
value for its customers seeking seamless, worry-free travel planning.
By integrating
digital insurance into the travel booking process, the collaboration is
expected to strengthen consumer confidence and promote safer travel experiences
for Maldivians exploring destinations worldwide.
