Visitors to the Maldives Financial Expo 2026 will have the opportunity to win a wide range of prizes, including a grand cash prize of MVR 25,000, as the Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) prepares to host the country's largest financial sector exhibition this week.
According to the MMA, one lucky visitor will receive the Grand Prize of MVR 25,000, sponsored by the Bank of Maldives. In addition, visitors attending the three-day expo will have multiple opportunities to win valuable prizes throughout the event.
A total of 15 Apple iPads will be given away during the expo, with five winners selected each day. The MMA will also award MVR 5,000 commemorative banknotes to seven winners daily, bringing the total number of commemorative note winners to 21 over the three days.
The prize pool also includes two MacBook Air laptops, two pairs of Apple AirPods, and a three-night full-board holiday for two at Araiku Beach Village in Haa Alif Hoarafushi.
Visitors can also win a range of shopping vouchers, including three gift cards worth MVR 5,000 each, twelve gift cards worth MVR 1,000 each, and thirty-six gift cards worth MVR 500 each.
The Maldives Financial Expo 2026 will be held from July 2 to 4 at Hulhumalé Central Park. Organised by the MMA, the event brings together financial institutions, government agencies, businesses and industry stakeholders to promote financial literacy, innovation and inclusion.
In addition to exhibitions and interactive activities, the expo will feature educational sessions, children's programmes, digital banking demonstrations and opportunities for visitors to engage directly with financial service providers.
With an extensive prize lineup alongside a diverse programme of activities, the Maldives Financial Expo aims to provide an engaging experience for visitors of all ages while encouraging greater awareness of financial products, services and responsible financial decision-making.
