The Bank of
Maldives (BML) has announced the opening of two new ATM centres in Alif Alif
Atoll, located in Feridhoo and Bodufolhudhoo. This expansion enhances
convenient banking access for residents, providing 24/7 services that include
withdrawals, deposits, and transfers.
The addition of
these ATM centres raises the total number of BML’s ATM facilities in Alif Alif
Atoll to six. With its branch in Rasdhoo, which has served the atoll since
2006, BML now offers an extended network that ensures residents have more
direct access to essential banking without needing to travel to other islands.
BML’s CEO,
Mohamed Shareef, highlighted the importance of this investment, stating, “We
are delighted to expand our ATM network in Alif Alif Atoll, making essential
banking services more readily available to the residents of Feridhoo and
Bodufolhudhoo. Along with enhancing our digital banking services, this
investment reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting the communities we
serve and contributing to the overall economic development of the Maldives.”
With a broad
national footprint, BML operates 39 branches across the Maldives, including 91
self-service banking centres and 147 ATMs. Through these facilities, along with
its agent banking and extensive digital banking services, BML remains dedicated
to meeting the needs of individuals, businesses, and communities across all 20
atolls.
