(BML) has been announced as the Official Banking Partner for Rashu Expo, a
premier event dedicated to promoting island tourism and culture. The expo, set
to take place from February 13 to 15 at Hulhumalé Central Park, will feature
participation from island councils, guesthouses, and small and medium
enterprises (SMEs).
Chief Business
Officer of BML, Moosa Nimal, highlighted the bank’s commitment to supporting
initiatives that benefit the community. “We are proud to be a part of an event
that reflects the interest of our community. Our hope is that the Expo will
play a significant role in connecting businesses with the public,” he said.
Director of The
Travel Guys, Dr. Hussain Sunny Umar, emphasized the significance of BML’s
involvement, stating that the partnership underscores the bank’s dedication to
strengthening local tourism. “Having the presence of the largest financial
institution in the country is another boost to the expo, indicating BML’s
commitment to contributing to the growth of the tourism sector and local
businesses,” he said.
Rashu Expo will
serve as a platform for businesses to showcase their products and services,
fostering collaboration and growth within the tourism industry.
