Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) has unveiled a redesigned version of its Flight Information System (FIS) website, introducing a modern user interface, enhanced functionality and improved real-time flight tracking capabilities aimed at delivering a more seamless experience for passengers, airport users and aviation stakeholders.
The upgraded platform features a visually appealing design with intuitive navigation, allowing users to access live flight information more efficiently than ever before. The new interface offers comprehensive flight monitoring tools, including real-time arrival and departure updates, gate information, boarding status and aircraft movement tracking.
Designed with user convenience in mind, the platform incorporates powerful search and filtering functions, enabling passengers and visitors to quickly locate specific flights, destinations or airlines. Users can also sort and view flights based on different categories, including arrivals, departures, flights boarding soon, landing soon and recently landed services.
The redesigned dashboard presents key flight information through dynamic visual components and dedicated status panels, providing a clear overview of airport activity at a glance. Enhanced graphics, streamlined layouts and responsive design elements contribute to an improved user experience across desktop and mobile devices.
The new system also provides real-time updates on scheduled and estimated flight times, terminal allocations, gate information and flight status notifications, helping travellers stay informed throughout their airport journey.
The enhanced Flight Information System reflects MACL's commitment to leveraging technology to improve customer experience and operational efficiency, while supporting the growing demands of the Maldives' aviation and tourism sectors.
As passenger traffic continues to increase, the upgraded platform is expected to serve as a key digital gateway for travellers seeking accurate and timely flight information before arriving at the airport and throughout their journey.
