One&Only Reethi Rah has extended its support to the Fiyavathi Children’s Shelter with a donation exceeding MVR 237,000 (USD 15,000), providing essential furniture and appliances to improve the wellbeing of children under state care.

The luxury private island resort’s management team visited the shelter on January 30, 2025, to mark the occasion. The donation included beds, mattresses, air conditioning units, flat-screen TVs, and desktop computers—aimed at enhancing the children’s comfort, entertainment, and educational opportunities.

Fiyavathi, the largest state-run care facility in Hulhumalé, currently houses 63 children, ensuring their basic needs and education are met. This latest contribution is part of One&Only Reethi Rah’s ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts to support local communities.

“We are committed to making a meaningful impact in the lives of those in need, and Fiyavathi holds a special place in our CSR initiatives,” a spokesperson from One&Only Reethi Rah stated.

The resort has maintained a longstanding partnership with Fiyavathi, consistently working on projects that uplift vulnerable children in the Maldives.
