Lavazza Group has once again been awarded the prestigious EcoVadis Gold Medal, placing the company among the top 5% of businesses worldwide assessed for sustainability performance. The recognition reaffirms Lavazza's commitment to environmental stewardship, ethical business practices, human rights, and responsible supply chain management.
EcoVadis is one of the world's most respected providers of corporate sustainability ratings, evaluating companies across four key pillars: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.
Lavazza achieved outstanding scores in the Environment and Labour & Human Rights categories, supported by its internationally recognized certifications and initiatives such as the Welfare & Wellbeing and Living Wage programs, Global Parental Policy, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) projects.
The company also recorded significant improvements in Ethics through enhanced employee training, strengthened internal policies, and transparent sustainability reporting. Its Sustainable Procurement performance also advanced as a result of increased ESG assessment and monitoring across its global supplier network.
Since 2020, Lavazza has partnered with EcoVadis to strengthen sustainability throughout its supply chain by working closely with suppliers to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and responsible growth.
