Dhiraagu has
officially partnered as the Digital Partner for the upcoming Thoddoo Masters
Table Tennis Tournament, set to begin tomorrow and run until August 25 in
AA. Thoddoo.
This marks the first-ever
international table tennis tournament hosted in the Maldives.
The event is being
organized in collaboration with the Thoddoo Local Authority Company (TLAC) and
Ihaa Table Tennis Academy (ITTA) and will feature over 130 athletes from
countries including Germany, Spain, China, India, the UK, and the USA.
The tournament is
open to players aged 35 and older. Its goal is to support the growth of table
tennis in the Maldives while delivering economic and social benefits to the
Thoddoo community.
Speaking on the
occasion, Dhiraagu’s Director of Brand and Marketing Communications, Mohamed
Mirshan Hassan, said the company has always supported sports and community
development. He noted that the tournament would further position the Maldives
as a destination for global sporting events.
Thoddoo Council
President Ahmed Karam also highlighted the significance of the tournament,
saying it would help establish Thoddoo as a host island for international
events while boosting local tourism. He expressed gratitude to Dhiraagu for its
continued support.
Ihaa Academy Founder
