Coca-Cola Maldives has launched its 2026 football campaign, offering fans across the country a range of prizes, promotions and shared experiences in the lead-up to the FIFA World Cup 2026.
The campaign, running from March to May, is designed to tap into the excitement surrounding football season, with a focus on matchday moments, watch parties and fan celebrations. Consumers can take part in the promotion through special packs of Coca-Cola products, which feature unique codes under caps or can tabs.
Participants can enter the promotion by sending codes via SMS, with weekly prizes on offer throughout the campaign period. The promotion spans multiple product formats, including 330ml cans and 500ml, 1.25L and 2L PET bottles across Coca-Cola, Sprite and Fanta variants.
At the top tier, eight winners will receive an all-expenses-paid trip for two to watch a World Cup match live. Other prizes include branded mini-coolers, football-shaped personal coolers and official Coca-Cola and FIFA footballs.
The first batch of winners is set to be announced on ICE TV on April 6 at 9pm, with announcements continuing weekly.
Mario Perera, Country Head for Sri Lanka and the Maldives, said the campaign was inspired by football’s ability to bring people together.
“Football has a way of bringing people together like nothing else,” he said, adding that the campaign aims to create fun, accessible ways for Maldivians to engage with the sport during the World Cup build-up.
Coca-Cola Maldives will also introduce limited-edition collectible country-themed packs between May and July, offering fans another way to connect with the global tournament.
The company said it will work with retail partners across the Maldives to enhance in-store promotions and organise selected activations, aiming to capture the community spirit that surrounds football in the country.
The campaign marks the start of Coca-Cola Maldives’ 2026 activities, with more fan-focused initiatives expected in the months ahead.
