Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) has emerged as the champion of the Mobile Legend: Bang Bang (MLBB) tournament at the Ooredoo Nation Inter Office Esports Championship 2025.
The event, which
concluded over the weekend, marked the second edition of the Inter Office
Esports Championship, an initiative by Ooredoo Nation to bring office teams
from across the country together through the growing platform of esports. A
total of nine teams representing five different companies took part in this
year’s MLBB tournament.
After intense
rounds of matches, MACL secured the top spot, defeating teams from other
leading companies. The victory reflects the strong spirit and teamwork of the
MACL squad, who battled through multiple stages to claim the title.
As one of the
country’s largest employers, MACL emphasized that it will continue to support
and encourage its employees to take part in friendly competitions that foster
camaraderie and teamwork beyond the workplace. The company highlighted that
such tournaments not only promote esports in the Maldives but also provide
employees with a platform to showcase their skills and engage in a positive
competitive environment.
The Inter Office
Esports Championship has quickly gained popularity as a unique initiative,
offering working professionals the chance to step into the esports arena while
strengthening workplace bonds. With the success of its second edition, the
tournament is set to become a regular feature in the Maldives’ growing esports
landscape.
