MWSC and Fenaka Sign Agreement to Transfer Water Services in Addu and Fuvahmulah

The transfer will take place after the necessary checks and documentation are completed.

Malé Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC) and Fenaka Corporation have signed a framework agreement to transfer water and sewerage services in Addu City and Fuvahmulah City to MWSC.

The agreement, signed on 27 September, sets out a process for handing over operations, infrastructure, resources, ongoing projects, customer records, contracts, inventory and related responsibilities. The transfer will take place after the necessary checks and documentation are completed.

MWSC Managing Director Hussain Fahmy signed on behalf of the company, while Fenaka Managing Director Mohamed Afeef Hussain represented Fenaka.

The two companies said they will work together during the transition to maintain reliable, uninterrupted water and sewerage services for residents of both cities.
