The Maldives National Skills Development Authority (MNSDA)
has officially authorized the Aviation Institute of Maldives (AIM), a
subsidiary of Maldives Airports Company Ltd. (MACL), to deliver national
certificate-level courses.
A formal agreement was signed on October 1, 2025, between
Dr. Zahura Mohamed, CEO of MNSDA, and Ibrahim Shareef Mohamed, CEO and Managing
Director of MACL. Under this partnership, AIM will be able to conduct MNSDA’s
full range of certificate programs using MACL’s pool of certified trainers.
The authorization marks a major milestone in advancing the
country’s aviation industry. It is expected to create new opportunities for
workforce training, enhance the skills of aviation professionals, and support
MACL’s broader strategy to strengthen human capital and industry development in
the Maldives.
