Dhiraagu has introduced the Dhiraagu X ISIC Card, giving Maldivian students access to thousands of discounts and offers worldwide as well as special local benefits. The announcement was made today at a press conference held at Dhiraagu Head Office as part of the company’s 37th anniversary celebrations.
The Dhiraagu
X ISIC Card is an International Student Identity Card (ISIC), recognized in
over 150 countries and endorsed by UNESCO. According to Dhiraagu’s Acquisition
Manager Prepaid, Aminath Shuza, it is one of the most popular student cards
globally, providing access to more than 150,000 offers, including discounts on
travel, shopping, and entertainment.
In addition to
international offers, Dhiraagu has tailored exclusive local deals for Maldivian
students. With the launch, students will be able to enjoy discounts from over
50 local partners, including outlets, airlines, hospitals, and entertainment
venues. Dhiraagu has also introduced a “Student Hot Deal” to cater specifically
to the needs of Maldivian youth.
The card is
available for MVR 100 through the Dhiraagu app and is valid for one year, after
which it can be renewed. It is open to school, college, and university
students. Dhiraagu also announced the Dhiraagu X ISIC Plan, a
student-focused mobile plan that combines ISIC benefits with special telecom
offers available via the app.
By partnering
with ISIC, Dhiraagu aims to empower Maldivian students with opportunities both
at home and abroad, ensuring they can take advantage of the same global
benefits enjoyed by millions of students worldwide.
