Bank of Maldives has launched a new campaign titled
‘Dhiveheenge Bank - Mulhi Raajje Ah’, highlighting its long-standing role in
supporting communities, businesses and national progress. The launch event took
place this morning and was officiated by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.
Speaking at the ceremony, CEO and Managing Director Mohamed
Shareef reflected on the founding purpose of Bank of Maldives in 1982. He noted
that the bank was established not only to provide financial services, but also
to contribute to the country’s economic and social development. The new
campaign aims to reinforce this identity as a bank created by and for the
Maldivian people.
Shareef said that the bank has grown to become one of the
main employers for skilled professionals in the financial sector and continues
to expand digital accessibility across the Maldives. He added that Bank of
Maldives sees itself as a partner in national growth, supporting individuals,
communities and industries across the atolls.
The campaign will run across multiple platforms and is
expected to highlight the bank’s role in areas such as community development,
digital innovation and economic participation.
