BML Conducts ICT Information Sessions in Funadhoo and Milandhoo Schools

Bank of Maldives (BML) has conducted its annual Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) programme for girls in Shaviyani Atoll Funadhoo and Milandhoo.

As part of the programme, a team of 10 female employees from BML’s Technology Division conducted sessions at Funadhoo School and Milandhoo School for girls studying in grades 7 to 10.

The sessions introduced students to the field of ICT and provided information on education and career opportunities available in the technology sector.

The initiative forms part of BML’s annual programme held to mark International Girls in ICT Day, which aims to encourage more girls to explore studies and careers in technology.

Through the programme, BML seeks to increase awareness among young students about opportunities in ICT and inspire greater female participation in the technology industry.
